104. I swap: Felt Tapestry Art Squares - Set of Two

by VermontFairies

About

These two miniature pieces of artwork would make a unique embellishment, whether sitting on a table-top, hanging on the wall, or sewn to a hand-crafted jacket. They are created from all-natural wool, silk fibers, and a few glass beads, using various felting techniques and embroidery. You will receive the two shown, in shades of blue, green, purple, and orange.

Each square measures approx. 4-5 inches across. If you prefer, I can attach a clear thread to the back for easy hanging. Let me know!

Want to swap for

I would love to swap for original artwork/sculpture, unique earrings, journals, spinning or felting fiber...or anything unique and lovely.

Swapped: amandajphotos and Kynswolf

Swap between amandajphotos and Kynswolf

A few years ago, it snowed early and hard, and it was wet, heavy snow. The leaves had just changed and were still on the trees. The color of the pear trees against the blinding white of the snow makes for a surreal winterscape. The vivid reds and greens would make this especially suited to a Christmas display. This photograph was printed last year for a trade show. It is in brand-new condition, but it is signed "amanda j 2009." (See Picture#2.) Print is 11"x14", printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Lustre paper, and mounted on foam board (foam core). This process gives the photograph a protective backing that makes it possible to frame without using glass.

Swapped: Jargonhead and Nukilan

Swap between Jargonhead and Nukilan

This limited edition print study is printed on 8.5"x11" archival safe matte paper from a professional large format inkjet printer. All the inks I use are archival safe, and are supposed to last up to 100 years.

These rough and tumble super fun notebooks are perfect for chucking in your bag for a quick note, doodle or scribble. Each notebook is made from two calendar pages and can begin either way - it's entirely up to you! Side A and B are both sides of the same notebook, and there is no 'official' front cover. I folded in the date part of the calendar so you can use them to mark your page.
I hand-cut mixed papers for the pages and each notebook is filled with a combination of different types of paper, including tracing paper, graph paper, colour paper, kraft paper, drawing paper and plain paper.
The notebooks are staple-bound for that rugged look.
