Swapped: stonesartisanjewery and LikeFreja

swap between stonesartisanjewelry and LikeFreja

About

These Tibetan Agate are both gorgeous and easy to wear. Even if you are not drawn to wild patterns, this piece, with it's easy 10mm stones, is a style basic for the season. The black and white pattern is a warmer - not yellow - creamy color, and the color and shine make the piece quite sophisticated. I love it paired with the gold stardust bead, but you can choose a different focal stone if you wish.

I'd love to trade for most anything, but I have a weak spot for other people's jewelry, scarves, weird crochet, knitted goods, tea towels and brooches of all kinds.

Swapped: stonesartisanjewelry and DoucesLaines

Swap between  stonesartisanjewelry and DoucesLaines

This delicate and earthy bracelet is made of  8mm purple "african turquoise" stones that have an interesting texture and wonderful deep bellflower lustre. Each stone is like a little globe, with sand colored lines etching their way throughout. I don't normally work with gold, but the purple looks quite refined with the stardust bead that hides the elastic knot. 22 genuine stones in all, one 8mm gold-filled 14k 1/20 round stardust bead, and high quality jeweler's elastic. These fit a 6.5 inch wrist.  African turquoise is a kind of Jasper.  Jasper encourages peace of mind and a general feeling of nurture and well being. Both stones protect against as well as dissipate anger and other negative energies whether from oneself or others

Do you have a pixie at home ? Here is a little pixie's hat ! The pixie's hat can also be used to cover your Easter egg ! Handknitted in beige pure cotton, very very very thick and durable, to fit your organic eggs and keep them hot for your French breakfast ;-)
Useful tip : Use the pixie's hat to cut your egg : no more hot egg in your hands ;-)

Paper Yarn Rings made to bring Autumn Colors into your life: Orange, Dark Warm Red and Cool White with the promise of snow... The ring on your finger will engage your senses - not only eyes and touch but you'll see that playing around with it comes naturally and brings great fun.

The rings are made out of my favorite material: Paper Yarn that has carefully been dyed to give longlasting intensive colors. It's a very sturdy material and getting the rings wet from time to time is no problem (please do take them off when doing the dishes though!)

The size of the ring itself can be adjusted easily, the round socket is about 0.4in (1cm) in diameter and the "pricks" stand about 1- 2in (2-4cm) high.
The ring is shipped in a little clear tube to protect it from any harm.

60. I swap: Binary code bracelet

by adotelise

About

This bracelet spells out the word "swap" in ASCII binary code, but I can make a custom bracelet to spell out any four letter word of your choice (such as: geek, luck, hope, a name, a date, etc). I do this by using the different color beads to represent ones and zeros. In this bracelet the "ones" are represented by real stabilized turquoise beads and the "zeros" are represented by mahogany obsidian beads. The beads are loomed onto dark brown goat leather cord and the bracelet is finished with a 5/8 inch mother of pearl oyster shell button. The button closure is adjustable, depending on where the knots are placed in the leather.

Want to swap for

As far as what I'd like to swap for, I'm open to ideas. But I'm particularly interested in stacking rings, stacking bracelets, a phone case or cozy, or any type of wearable geekery. My etsy shop has a good long favorites list, if you're looking for ideas.

30. I swap: Purple Seed-beads Bracelet

by missbaah

About

Bracelet made from approximately a million purple seed beads (alright, maybe not a million, but LOTS.), woven in 2 ruffles round a central strand with pretty miyuki accent beads. I made this after teaching myself to weave beads and I love how the colours turned out. It looks very dainty and girlie on the wrist.

Approximately 7 inches round, designed to slip over your hand with no fiddly fastenings.

Want to swap for

Would prefer a pair of silver stud earrings with a fun design, but I'm pretty open to most things. I have a soft spot for anything I won't see someone else in the street wearing.

Swap between Paperphine and tiinateaspoon

The Necklace/Bracelet is made entirely of finest white Paper Yarn. The material's sturdniess allows to produce uniquely structured pieces that are soft and flexible but nevertheless keep their form. And yes, it can get wet (but please don't take a shower with it...!)

and Oblivion - Photography inspired by these beautiful words from 'Confession' by Charles Baudelaire:
"Que bâtir sur les coeurs est une chose sotte;
Que tout craque, amour et beauté,
Jusqu'à ce que l'Oubli les jette dans sa hotte
Pour les rendre à l'Eternité!"
{Translation:
That to build on hearts is a foolish thing,
That all things break, love, and beauty,
Till Oblivion tosses them into his dosser
To give them back to Eternity!}
