124. I swap: Braided Bead Necklace

by HoneyThistle

About

This necklace was inspired by my love of braids! I had braids growing up & recently re-embraced them. This necklace is made from peach, white & grey seed beads strung on a gold chain and hangs about 24 inches. It's relatively delicate but packs a visual punch.

Want to swap for

I like to swap my necklace for any of the following: hand illustrated jewelry (brooch, earrings, or necklace); hand knit slouchy hat; small paper cut art.

118. I swap: Pink White Beaded Earrings

by EfZinCreations

About

The Pink White Beaded Earrings a beautiful, simple, chic and at the same time modern earrings’ pair is amazing for every woman and young lady. The materials are not heavy so the earrings can be wearied for many hours without bothering the woman. White lava combines beautifully with pink cat’s eye and the opal moonstone, which gives sometimes a soft blue or a white shade. The colors' combination is perfect for every occasion, for delicate or for casual appearance. You are going to love them!

I used white rondelle lava, navy blue cat’s eye and moonstone in oval shape. The earring hook of the photo is silver plated.

Lava is the molten rock expelled by a volcano during an eruption. The resulting rock after solidification and cooling is this semi precious stone used in art jewelry.

Size: From hook to the end: almost 7cm (almost 3 inch
).

Swapped: stonesartisanjewelry and LikeFreja

swapped between LikeFreja and stonesartisanjewelry

About

This autumn necklace is very lightweight, made of layers of small seed beads and brass accents.  There are 11 strands, each a different length.  The seed beads are pearl white and a  pretty coffee brown, and they hang freely on silver jeweler's wire.  The are attached to a brass lobster clasp with an extension chain.  The shortest strand is 18 inches and the longest strand is 23 inches.  Al the rest hang in between.

Want to swap for

I'd love to trade for most anything, but I have a weak spot for other people's jewelry, scarves, weird crochet, knitted goods, tea towels and brooches of all kinds.

109. I swap: Jasper And Gold Bracelet

by stonesartisanjewelry

About

This delicate and earthy bracelet is made of  8mm purple "african turquoise" stones that have an interesting texture and wonderful deep bellflower lustre. Each stone is like a little globe, with sand colored lines etching their way throughout. I don't normally work with gold, but the purple looks quite refined with the stardust bead that hides the elastic knot. 22 genuine stones in all, one 8mm gold-filled 14k 1/20 round stardust bead, and high quality jeweler's elastic. These fit a 6.5 inch wrist.  African turquoise is a kind of Jasper.  Jasper encourages peace of mind and a general feeling of nurture and well being. Both stones protect against as well as dissipate anger and other negative energies whether from oneself or others.

I am open to all trades, but am especially fond of brooches, knit creatures, anything with fibre, and unusual things.

62. I swap: Seahorses earrings

by Iria

About

These are 2 seahorses earrings made with little yellow and green beads. They are 7cm each and you can transform them into brooches or necklaces because it's very easy to remove the ear-clip.

60. I swap: Binary code bracelet

by adotelise

About

This bracelet spells out the word "swap" in ASCII binary code, but I can make a custom bracelet to spell out any four letter word of your choice (such as: geek, luck, hope, a name, a date, etc). I do this by using the different color beads to represent ones and zeros. In this bracelet the "ones" are represented by real stabilized turquoise beads and the "zeros" are represented by mahogany obsidian beads. The beads are loomed onto dark brown goat leather cord and the bracelet is finished with a 5/8 inch mother of pearl oyster shell button. The button closure is adjustable, depending on where the knots are placed in the leather.

Want to swap for

As far as what I'd like to swap for, I'm open to ideas. But I'm particularly interested in stacking rings, stacking bracelets, a phone case or cozy, or any type of wearable geekery. My etsy shop has a good long favorites list, if you're looking for ideas.

37. I swap: Handmade Polymer Clay Beads

by Lavish Lila

About

These are made of polymer clay and painted with acrylic (red and, forgive my color-blindness, turquoise/teal) paints.  Option to be varnished or not, it's up to you, in the photo they are not.
The whole set is, I'm only guessing, 100 beads?

I was digging through the basement for extra craft supplies and found an unused, 1 pound pack of polymer clay.  I started to experiment, found some craft wire, and spun some clay around on it and voila, I came up with these nifty little textured beads.

Each bead is hand-painted and spun on wire; none of them are the same.  I'm throwing in a few colourful beads from my own supply in the mix, just because.  The designs on the beads are unintentional, but at the same time, intricate and beautiful.

Want to swap for

Any type of art object, clothing, homemade cosmetics, accessories, jewelry, wearables, beads/pendants and beading supplies (or craft supplies in general, I'm quite low). Anything that catches my eye.

30. I swap: Purple Seed-beads Bracelet

by missbaah

About

Bracelet made from approximately a million purple seed beads (alright, maybe not a million, but LOTS.), woven in 2 ruffles round a central strand with pretty miyuki accent beads. I made this after teaching myself to weave beads and I love how the colours turned out. It looks very dainty and girlie on the wrist.

Approximately 7 inches round, designed to slip over your hand with no fiddly fastenings.

Want to swap for

Would prefer a pair of silver stud earrings with a fun design, but I'm pretty open to most things. I have a soft spot for anything I won't see someone else in the street wearing.

27. I swap: Handmade supply - hand-embellished, tufted bead piece

by Susanclare

About

I would like to offer a hand-embellished, tufted bead to trade. I consider the whole item as a single bead, yarn, little beads, etc but it is large enough that it could be considered as a pendant also. I call them "beaded beads" because I start with a bead then modify it by expanding what is there to create another bead. I made this bead using a beautiful, 25mm painted powder glass bead handmade in Ghana, Africa, threading it with three strands of brass wire.  I strung a selection of small, multi-colored glass beads on the wires and cinched them tight with a cobalt blue glass pony bead on each side then completed the embellishment with more bright seed beads and two small face beads, one on each side, hand-wrapping the wire ends to make loops on both ends. I added (8) tufts of stressed, knotted yarn to each side, including small glass "donuts" on each tuft, knotting them in place.

I am open to anything! :)
